The ski season in Mont Tremblant is a month away. This means it’s time to start planning your experiences and buy your passes. You don’t want to miss out on anything!
Mont-Tremblant is located within the Laurentian Mountains, northwest of Montréal. Its picturesque views are breathtaking, no matter what time of the year you visit. Its cobblestone streets, red and teal facades, and Old City vibes charm most tourists. Of course, you will have a different experience if you go during winter, than during summertime. Since we’re getting close to the end of the year, here’s a full breakdown of what you could experience the next few months.
Ski season lasts about 3 to 4 months until March or April. This year the official dates are November 25, 2021 until April 18, 2022. Tremblant has three snow parks, and in total they cover over 30 acres. Yes, this includes the 96 different ski trails. If you are an aficionado, The Edge will be your ideal challenge. For those who have little to no experience, there’s a local ski school where you’ll be able to learn the basics.
There’s so much more to do other than skiing. Try snowshoeing! You may wonder “what is this?”. It’s simply a type of hiking that involves walking over snow with special snow footwear. There’s also sledding, dog sledding with beautiful huskies, ice skating, ice fishing, and more.
The best part is that at the end of the day, you can go back to your rustic cabin and enjoy a hot fondue, a glass of wine (or beer), and irresistible food. And for those who prefer to relax their muscles, the Scandinave Spa is open for all sorts of massages and therapies.
Don’t miss the panoramic gondola, a quick “good luck” stop at Casino de Mont-Tremblant, and enjoy a stroll at Place St-Bernard until one of the many fine dining restaurants catches your attention.
Experience the second oldest ski resort in North America this winter. You won't regret it!
